I'm interested in condensing my 500 or so odd DVDs into one or two hard drives for more convenient storage and playback.

I've heard that ratDVD is my best option. However, in my research I have found that FluxDVD has replaced it and also uses the H.264 standard when arching.

Wouldn't this be a better option as to quality when backing up my DVDs to a hard drive (and also since ratDVD hasn't been supported since 2005)?

Thanks!
