Illegal disc

The burner doesn't like the disks.
Do you have access to another package or brand of cd - or even a blank DVD to see if that will burn.

ok i used a dvd and it burnt successfully, i used DVD(iso) to burn a folder of pictures.
When i click on my cd drive to open the images nothing is there? When i insert the disc in drive it autoruns and says its a black dvd. But when i go to nero and get disc info it says theres something on the dvd and i can see the burn lines on the dvd

Not familiar with Nero to know what the problem might be there.

Download and run ImgBurn.
Click 'Add files/folders to disc'.
Insert a blank (CD or DVD).
Click on the 'Device' tab - just to see if it recognizes the blank disk (it should also list the burning speeds available).
Browse to or drag in the folder with the images.
Select a moderate burning speed (from the speeds listed under the 'Device' tab) and burn it.

what's this burn folder then using iso, that to me says your getting nero to burn the folder inside an iso container ? ,if that's the case for what purpose ?,no wonder you can't get to them,it would require extraction using iso buster to get to the photo's well that's how i see it,if all your doing is wanting a backup of stuff then nero express, then hit data button when window appears you have option to burn cd data or dvd data,if you want to add more files later set it to do so,in other words burn as data
