I have just bought a Blu_ray player. I have been scanning images 500ppi the reducing the resolution to 1080 pixels high so that (in theory) they will be the right size and resolution for my 40" HDTV. When I burned a test slideshow to a DVD and played it on my TV via Blu-Ray I was dosappointed at the resolution. The resolution was better than it was on my old standard TV and better than when I used my old standard DVD player, but I expected the images to be crystal clear.

Is Nerovision limited in the quality of the image in the slideshow which it can show on an HDTV?
