Hi:

I'm sure you get posts like this all the time, but I am brand new to the world of video editing even though I have owned 2 camcorders since 2000. Anyway, my current device is a Sony camcorder that records on mini DVDs. I have a free version of Nero that was bundled with my DVD burner. I never used it prior to this week. However a recent trip to Disney caused me to create a DVD slide show of my photos, and that worked out perfectly. Smug with success, I thought I would try editing my 3 hours of video. I had no real problem importing the video from the discs to my hard drive. I also had no real problem figuring out how to cut the video, add transitions to the cuts, add chapters, etc. My problem is that when I finish my editing of a piece/clip of video, the program (not the computer) freezes (stops responding) when I try to view the finished product prior to burning. I believe I have plenty of memory, so I am not sure what is causing the problem. If anyone can offer an explanation/remedy or direct me to a prior post that deals with the same issue, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!
