Hi,
I have tried (using Subtitle Workshop)to change the appearance of a certain passage of an srt file into italics, however, the result was that the fonts of the whole srt file turned into itallics. The results where the same when I tried to do that with NotePad and with EditPad Lite.

Is there some other way to do it?

Thanks in advance for any help

In the following .srt file, the first three lines have italics.
The fourth line doesn't.

On the PC, a media player like VLC will play the three lines with italics.

For a standalone player, use AviAddXSubs to merge the subs with the video.

The result is a .divx file that an be burned to disk - the subs are then selected with the remote.

Do not include the .srt file on the disk.
Note that some standalone, DivX certified players don't like the .divx extension - in that case, rename the file to .avi instead.

Hi attar,
I need it for playing the movie on a standalone player, so I will try use AviAddXSubs to merge the subs with the video.
Thanks a lot
