Hi there,

I'm an anime mania, and lately the anime files are in MKV format. I'd like to convert them to AVI. I used the SUPER Converter for this. The MKV format contains subtitles. But when I convert it to AVI, the subtitle is gone. How do I convert the MKV file to AVI together with the subtitles? Need help please.

Do you want the subtitles hardcoded or removable(able to turn them on/off?)

If you want to have them hardcoded, you can use :

http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

If you want to have them switchable, you have to extract the subs from the MKV first( you can do that with MKVExtract ), then encode to AVI using Super or whatever program you want...
