Sync Text File with Video

I have a text file that I am trying to sync up with a video. Its just an ASCII text transcript, with no time stamps.

What I am looking for is a program that will allow me to watch a video and hit a button to sync up each line of the file manually. Ive tried a few freeware programs but they all require me to input times instead of just watching a video and syncing the subs as I go. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

This works OK.
Load the text file and video and 'Apply' each line as long as required then preview and save as .srt file.
