My wife sent my ipod nano 3g through the wash today! I was a little upset, but I thought it was a good excuse to buy a new one. I decided to put it in a dry sock and run it through the dryer for about 15 minutes. To my surprise it started to work. The screen still looked a little damp and misty. So I laid it in the oven , off, with just the heat of the pilot light, and it was enough to evaporate the moister and make the screen clear again. I am sure it also helped getting any remaining moister out of the case too.
I am very impressed by the Apple ipod's durability, I work in construction and this little nano has held up like a champ. The Apple products are pricey, but you truly get what you pay for!
