HOW DO I CALIBRATE MY mp4 screen!?

About a week ago i got this touch mp4 player. it was working just fine until today. I just tried to open the music and it didn't do anything. I tried to open everything else and they didn't open either. The only thing I was able to open was a game..and not even on purpose. I clicked on "text" (which is right above it) and i opened "games". I'm not sure what to do. there is an option to "calibrate" the screen, but i cannot access it since I cannot click on anything :S
do I need to reformat it? would that even work ?
any help would be appreciated
