Hi all,

I wasn't sure where to post this - in the Blu-ray or Mac - so I'll post this here;

Does anyone know of a way, apart from bootcamp, of watching Blu-Ray movies on a Macbook Pro 15" (april 2010)?

I've looked on FastMac and It seems you can get an external USB Blu-Ray drive for fairly cheap, however their site notes you can't play Blu-Ray Movies in Mac OS X but you can through boot camp; this is due to a lack of software. I've also heard you can use Toast 10 platinum or some such software to burn and read blu-ray discs.

Also I don't particularly want to rip my blu-rays using my p.c. and transfer them to my hdd as it takes a particularly long time and depending on the encoding, a fair amount of disk space.

So does anyone know of any new software that has been released recently? or a way around this? As this is the only thing I wish my Mac could do that it currently can't.

Thanks in advance,
