Hello. I'm about to start over fresh with my XP and this time, I'm going to create a full backup on a dvd or put the .bak file on a different hard drive, for when my system gets corrupt again, (which my registery is presently screwed) from either a virus, or missing winsock issue, that I can simply use the full recovery file for a clean start. My question...should I create the full backup after I've fully updated my windows, and after I've placed all my software onboard, such as malware bytes, spybot, avast, linksys software....etc....or, keep it clean and just back it up after I've updated XP? Thx for the info. Plan on doing this asap. DM
