I have a hp compaq nx9500 with the Nvidia go5700. i was using it to play aion. and my mouse cursor kept freezing. I read somewhere it could be my video driver, so I googled the driver and got one off hp's site. Problem is now that when i restart my computer. After the xp splash screen my monitor goes blank, no back light or anything. After 10 seconds or so my computer restarts.
I tried to download some other updates from xtremeG, and so other random ones hoping they would work. I dont have restore on btw.
I've also tried to find the update by searching hp for nx9500 seeing if it would be any different for each laptop or so. But all it shows is for the ati card.
I've also tried updating the driver through windows. But it still gives me the same problem after restart.
If anyone knows anything please let me kno. its driving me nuts.
