i think there is something wrong with windows 7 because what it is doing, when i select the dektop icons to a small size, they come to small. but when i reboot the icons appears to be on medium size again.
its like its not saving, i can't find any solution to this problem.
and also when i open an icon sya i open a games icon, and the games are in a list view. i put them in a tile view for example, when i close the window , and open it again they won't stay in tile view, they become list view again.
I don't have anything for the icons resizing, but I did have the problem of folder setting e.g 'details' reverting to 'list'.
If you right click on a folder > properties > customize, there is a drop down list of the various types of folders.
Most of mine are 'general' so customizing it using the tutorial means that any 'general' folder keeps the new settings permanently.

i have solved the problem, i just did another new user account and transferred everything,
though i would like to know why this happened, is it a windows 7 bug?
