How to keep custom folder arrangement?

Is there a way to save custom arrangement of folders (other than desktop)-If it gets back to the default alphabetic arrangement? I have around 100 folders which I arranged myself, but now their arrangement is back to as that Windows say:Arrange 'By Name'. It is very time consuming rearranging them. Is there a software that can save the custom folder arrangement and which I can restore later on?
