Hi, My pc which is a dell is 3 yrs old, running windows xp home edition. i turned it on earlier and it booted fine,,whie I working away the monitor screen turned black and blank,, the fan in the hard drive turned on. I then switched off at the mains,,and when i tried to reboot the fan just comes on and there are beep sounds coming from it ,,it has been running at the moment now for 25 mins,,would any one have any advice for me or an idea of wwhat the problem might be?
