please is there anyone out there that knows alot about windows software, ok here goes
i have windows xp pro, when i go into my documents, i can see all my files and im viewing them in tiles, but everytime i try to view them in thumbnail an error message comes up saying, windows explorer has encounted a problem and has to close?? ive run anti virus and all the other checks and nothing comes up?? please is there a setting on my pc that has changed, i will be forever gratful if ANYONE can help, thanks again hope to hear from someone soon, chris

Try unticking "generate thumbnails" ,it can also be caused by corrupted avi


or copy paste this into browser:

explorer crashes when viewing thumbnails
