I want to install 2 os on one computer. Is it possible to share files between the two os from the same computer. for example i have files on xp. I want to boot linux. From linux is it possible to get the shared files from xp?

not sure if this is the right section for you to ask this. it is possible to see files on windows partition while working on linux. some distros have this enabled by default, in other cases you need to install ntfs-3g driver in order to read/write files over xp partition.
