Hey everyone, not sure if this is in the right place or not but here goes. My apartment doesn't have an ethernet port but we do have building wide wireless. I noticed that it was very slow on my tower so I decided to run speed tests on both my laptop and tower and the results were very interesting. My MacBook Air reported 10.5 Mbps down, while my custom Windows tower reported a staggeringly low 0.5 Mbps down on the same network. What could be the problem here!? I've already tried a new wireless adapter in the tower. Help!!
