I recently bought (and can finally install after endless BIOS trouble) - my Creative X-fi Titanium Audio Card.

For general movies and games it is simple enough, Using 5.1 speaker output is also workable with some tricks. Getting stereo or 5.1 to my stereo Reciever in another room at the same time is also doable with cable splitters.

But:

I want to split some specific programs audio output between hardware outputs. IE:

I play Warhammer Online and my guild uses Ventrilo VoI to talk during runs. I would like the normal game audio to go to 5.1 speakers as normal (to use EAX) - and the output from Ventrillo to go to the front-of-case Headphones Jack(which is connected to the Xfi card)

Anyone know if this is doable, even with another piece of 3-rd party software?

If not, why? I can't be the first with this wish... ;)
