hi could anyone pls help me as i am new to wundows 7 my laptop keeps going into a black screen after so long can anyone pls help me out with the settings for it pls and where to go and how to do it i also have to press the power button to actived it again can u pls help me thanks again

if same as vista then right click on desktop but not on the icons. left click personalize. left click screen saver & & increase the time from where it is presently.

hi i did that and ive been out for about 2hours now an got back and had to press the power button for it to come on it was the black screen again thanks

can u tell me wot time it needs to be pls and wot the power settings r on never is that right and the balanced(recommended) settings ive put them to 1hour do i need to put them to never too thanks again

My solution would have been to go to power management settings and disable the engergy saving crap.
