My dad's sony viao has been working fine until yesterday when he started it up and it went right into startup diagnostics, ran for a while and said it couldn't fix the problem. I can't seem to figure out anything to get it going again. I have tried sfc scan, running windows repair disc, system restore, last known good configuration and have had no luck so far.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
