I had to reinstall XP Pro and now I cannot get windows updates.
I go to Windows Updates and it has the screen that says Do you want help in Activating Windows(Recommended), I click this, it then goes to Validation Status : Action Required , I then click Validate Now, it then runs the Legitcheck and comes up with the Validation Not Completed:ActiveX Error.

So after running this tool, it shows Genuine and my product key tag right on top of my tower, why am i having problems? I have configured IE8 Add-Ons and such, so nt sure what to do now.
