Call me paranoid - but i think norton sent me a trojan!

Ok so i had 2 trojans on my pc that norton missed and i cleared them with superantispyware.

I then sent a fairly smart and moderately rude mail to norton informing them that their software was useless and all it ever catches are tracking cookies, then....hey presto, less than 24 hours later norton pops up on screen telling me its caught a trojan!

Considering its only the second time its managed that in the 2 years ive had it installed my paranoid side has gone mad thinking they may have sent the attack knowing it would be caught.

Am i being mental or does anyone think they might use these kind of practises? Its not so difficult to think that they might....
