hi for the past week my computer has been getting slower. now it shuts down out of no where and takes forever to boot up. also with the sound skips when ever i have it on.

First I apologize I really not good at reading hijack this logs, you may want to take you pc into Safe Mode by pressing F8 just after the boot screen but before Windows Boot Screen. Once in Safe Mode, scan you pc for any viruses or spyware. Next do a disc clean up, defrag, and disc check follow this link on how to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315265

Once you've done that go to Windows live Onecare online safety scan http://onecare.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm perform a full scan this will clean up any stubborn or left over infections, btw its free

If you system remains slow and sluggish go to Windows Updates and click on custom install any new hardware drivers along with any critical patches your missing.

Lastly check you manufacturers website for any patches or fixes.

If things still don't improve I would reccomnend a clean install as that will give your system a very refreshing spring in its step. Make sure to back up any files to a usb thumb drive or discs before performing a clean install.

thank you for the reply i tried all that and the problem is still here. so i tryed to do a clean install and every time i try to do it the computer shuts off. the computer is not hot or anything so i dont know why it does this.

Is this a laptop or desktop?

Maybe you have a bad motherboard. A while back I also expierence sound problems on my computer, the onboard sound on the motherboard went bad. Installing a pci audio card fix the problem.

Try using a Linux livecd to bootup your computer. That's what I use to test my hardware. This will run an operating system from the cd (not installed on hard drive). If linux won't run then you might have a hard ware problem.
