I am pretty sure I have malware infection on my PC as my browser redirects to pages I did not select and my internal and external DVD drives will not let me burn anything.

I am unable to run the following programs installed on my PC in any type of mode:
Combo fix
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware v1.44
Spybot - Search & Destroy

When I started in safe mode (I am no longer able to do this) and viewed the processes running in my task bar the following were running:
explorer.exe
userinit.exe
iexplore.exe
svchost.exe
svchost.exe
lsass.exe
services.exe
winlogon.exe
csrss.exe
smss.exe
OfficeLiveSignIn?.
taskmgr.exe
WINWORD.EXE
system
System Idle Process

I have peformed full system scans using Norton Antivirus, used CCleaner and SUPERAntiSpyware and ATF-Cleaner without any joy. I also used kaspersky online scanner (scan took 3 hours to complete) which did identify 2 threats, the log is below with my HijackThis_v2.0.3_Beta.msi log

Can anyone advise what I should do/try next?

Thanks Terry9999

You could try googling the specific hits your anti-virus picked up to see how to individually deal with them.

Why can't you boot in safe mode and what OS are you running?

This link might help you restore your drives:

You could also try restoring your system to an earlier time.

Hi Delta,

Thanks for looking at my post I have now resolved all issues.
For your info I did about 40 hours worth of research and I beleive the below will remove the majority of Maleware, Viruse ect if used.

You can run the following programs to clean what you can and minimise the effect (most effective in the following order).

If the below programs do not load change their .exe file name (not the shortcut)to something like iexplorer.exe and they will work fine.

1. Malware bytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

2. ComboFix: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

3. SDFix: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/sdfix.php

4. SmitfraudFix: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/resources/link243.html

5. SpyBot Search and Destroy: http://www.spybotupdates.com/files/spybotsd162.exe
