Hello.

I'm getting some "Microsoft.WindowsSecurityCenter" alerts by
spybot. While I understand these are usually nothing to
worry about, I also understand its not a bad idea to use
a program like "hijackthis" to scan the system anyway.
I just wanted to post the log and see if anyone here
sees anything that doesn't belong.

Hi Gen65,

1.) Fix entries using HiJackThis

Launch HiJackThis
Click the Do a system scan only button
Put a check next to the entries listed below (if they still remain)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pp] C:\windows\pp10.exe

O23 - Service: Windows Hosts Controller - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\Fonts\unwise_.exe

IMPORTANT: Do NOT click fix until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now
Click the Fix checked button and close HiJackThis

2.) Delete Service

Copy & paste the text in the quote box below to Notepad.

Name it FixServices.bat
In the Save as type: select All Files & save it to your desktop
Double click FixServices.bat. A window will open and close. This is normal.

3.) Run MBAM

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
? At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
? If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
? Once the program has loaded, select Perform full scan, then click Scan.
? When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
? Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. <-- Don't forget this.
? When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be found here: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\log-date.txt

? Please post the MBAM Log and a fresh HJT log in your next reply.

Thanks for the reply,
I currently don't have the machine here to give
you the MBAM log but below is the latest HJT Scan.
The only thing I have yet to do is the 2nd or (delete service)
part of what you have shown me.
