I read the directions for windows xp and that would be great for my desktop but my lap top has vista on it.
My husband was surfing when a window opened and said that he had virus and trojans etc did he want to get rid of them and he clicked yes and then thought better of it and called me into the room. He had downloaded a program called Internet Security Suite.
I don't believe it is from CA but I think it disabled Microsoft security essentials and wants us to pay for a new Internet Security Suite program. It supposedly scanned my computer and says I have all kinds of virus' and trojans. Is this some new kind of hijack to get your money for their software? I can't find it in the add/remove on the control panel but it has been downloaded into the program files as Isc40_290. How can I get rid of it properly without damaging my os?
