Hi every body. This is my first post in this forum and i hope you can help me. I have an action replay max cd and it works great in some games. But there are other games dont work very well. It launched when i but the game cd after selecting the game cheat codes but the codes doesnt work. Its like i didnt used the action max cd. Can anyone tell me why. Thanks. :)
Did you enable a Master code for the game you are trying to play? Every game must have the Master code enabled in ARMax for any of the codes selected to work.
Alright, I'll give an example to better understand. Every game that you Play with codes using ARMax must have a master code enabled. This link is an example for Aliens Vs. Predator - Extinction, a PS2CD format game. If you look at the very first code, the (M) signifies that it is a master code. Without that code, none of the other codes will work. Hope this helps.
EDIT: By the way, that site (codejunkies.com) is where I get all my codes and game saves.
If you don't have any codes that say Master or (M), then you will have to go to the site I gave the link for. Search for the game you are trying to use codes on, and make sure you choose PS2 for the console in the search. You will then need to manually enter the (M) code into your ARMax (make sure it saves). I'm really surprised that the games on your ARMax have codes, but no masters.
