I have a gameshark for the ps2 but its clean and dont work... it gets like 3/4 the way through with its spin thing because its a gameshark v2 an when it gets to that point it changes to a blue screen but doesnt change back.

I own a Gameshark v2, and I have to admit, it's crap in comparison to other cheat engines. I've had nothing but problems with it since day 1. I would highly recommend checking out the homebrew-oriented sections of this forum for alternative means of using codes on games. Your Gameshark v2 can be used to set up other cheat engines as long as you can still access the memory manager. If you're not into the homebrew scene, and would rather not waste the time... I suggest a newer version of Codebreaker. Things to try with your Gameshark v2: Remove all media cards (USB storage device, memory card) before starting the disc, leave them out until it has reached the main screen then put them back in (if your problem occurs at the beginning splash screen).
