some games require the microphone be yelled into periodically. blowing into it, i've found, gets the job done just as effectively, but i was wondering if there was maybe a better way. the DS has a 3.5" for audio out but what appears to be a proprietary adapter for audio in. is there a 3.5" adapter for the propreitary audio in port? i'd like to be able to plug the DS's audio in directly to the audio out of a computer or an ipod or something and just have the computer play noise at the click of a button.

amazon.com sells a headset for the DS that i could buy and subsequently splice with a 3.5" cable, however, i'm worried that the voltages might be different and i don't want to burn out the audio in to the DS. besides, i'd just assume not splice cables if at all possible.
