I just purchased a bigger micro SD card for my M3DS Real. I see there is a 128 file limit on each folder or the files won't be recognised propperly.

The question I have is how the game save files the cart makes for each game (.sav, .OPT) effect this? Do the save files that are created count toward the 128 file limit or only game files? If that is the case wouldn't 42 games be the max you would want for each folder?

Another question I have about the folder structure and the limit is if you were to put game files into seperate folders...could each of these folds still work propperly if put into the NDS folder or would they have to be placed on the root of the card?

Thanks for any help. The file limit wasn't an issue with a 2GB card but I want to make sure I understand things before setting up my new 16GB card.

PS: Sorry if this subject has been explained before. I did a search but found the forum seach feature to be confusing at best.
