Acekard 2i + EZ Flash V 3in1 HELP

I have an Acekard 2i and an EZ Flash V 3in1 and I can't get rumble working, im using AKAIO (the latest 1.6 R2) and when I load a rumble game (Metroid) and goto options it cant detect the RUMBLE pack, I tried using the GBA Exploder tool, but same problem. Also when ever I do a soft reset with a game (L+R+Y+X+A+B+DOWN) it resets my theme (from zelda to the AKRPG one) can anyone help with any of those problems, also the EZ flash V can play GBA games fine and SNEMulDS can detect the extra RAM ok.

Also I tried to use that 3in1 rumble patcher, but the program keeps crashing while patching.

Not sure if there is a solution to this as yet, but AKAIO have been told about it on their Bug reports/forum website,

the rumble works, 'cuz when you change the rumble level under the menu it VVVVVRR's quickly then nothing...
