I'll be installing the newest version of AKAIO on it too, once it arrives, and I notice it has these two lines in the description - "Built-in slot-2 launcher and GBA expansion pak support. " "Slot-2 integration - EZ 3in1 (w/GBA Patching), eWin 2in1, and older FlashAdvance Pro carts."
What does this mean? Does this allow me to put GBA Roms directly onto the MicroSD card and run them? Or do I need some kind of Slot 2 card to use in conjunction with the Acekard?
Sorry but it's all kind of confusing for a newbie :)
What game console do you have? NDSL or NDSi?
If you have a have a NDSL and want to use acekard 2i to play GBA game, it's ok, but you need get another device: ez-flash 3in1.
If you have a NDSi, i think you can't play GBA game by acekard 2i,
you should choose flash cards which have "Built-in GBA Emulator ",
there are several cards for you choosen:
DS iPlayer,
Supercard dstwo,
Ex4i.
Supercard DSTwo recommend, it comes from the famous Supercard team, who working in flash carts for years.
its not possible to play GBA games without a Slot 2 cart.
you'd better to get a supercard dstwo.
the Supercard DSTWO Card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL is a high-end slot-1 flash cart solution that allows you to launch games, run applications and play media directly from the device.
i suggest supercard dstwo.
cheers
