Hi, I'm new to the forum.

Before I continue with my problem, you should know I own a DS Lite and use an R4. I use a Transcend micro SD (2gb) as my micro card.

Recently, my micro card won't let me play games. Everything is fine when it turns on, but when I click on a game to play it, it will just stay at the loading screen.

I was wondering if any of you wizzes could help me out. Thanks in advance.

This has happened alot with my friends r4 cards. I fix it by recopying the game files to another location. I then delete everything on the micro sd card. I reloaded the latest firmware for the r4 card which I believe is version 1.18. then I reload only the game rom files not the save files. It should work. Sometimes there might be too many games and the card could freeze up. by doing this you clean up the card. Hope this works!!! Good Luck !!!

if that does not work I know there are alot of fakes and this could be one, I am not sure where you got it but if I were you I would switch to either M3 card or acecard. they play alot more games with no problems that will not work on r4. There cards are also more durable. The problem with R$ is that there are alot of fakes out there.

Yes, I've been led to understand that the R4 isn't that good.

Unfortunately, my micro sd card isn't recognized when I connect it to my computer via the USB. And I know it's not something wrong with the USB because my computer recognizes other micro sd cards (for the phone, not compatible with the DS). Thus, I'm forced to buy a new one.

And this is what I've done. I purchased a Kingston micro SDHC card. It didn't work (my DS screen just said "loading" when I turned it on with the card).

And unfortunately, I live in Sweden, which means getting another Transcend micro sd card is nearby impossible.

Although, is the R4 compatible with a micro SDHC card?

Many of them are not compatible with micro SDHC. Another reason to ditch the R4. The M3Real and AceKard were mentioned earlier, both those can read SDHC.
