DSi charges but won't turn on

Please help..

I have a Nintendo DSi, it charges fine but whne you press the power button, both screens flash white then go off.

I have already made sure all the ribbon cables are seated properly and both fuses are okay

I also have a DSI XL which charges fine but won't power on at all - again I have checked fuses & all ribbon cables are seated correctly

Any help on this would be apprciated
