DSi R4i causing problems

So I bought a DSI its running verision 1.4.3e and a R4i sdhc v1.4 every and any kernal ive attepmted has ened the same exact way that is error loading screen restart ds. I'm using a 4gb sd memory card. Can some please send me a message and tell me where im going wrong and how to fix it. Many Thanks

You can try use the latest firmware v1.54b from http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/R4i%20V1.54b%20English.zip and unzip it,open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card and insert it into your r4isdhc and put them together to your console and power it.

See whether it works,if not,you can update your card again on another NDS ,or 3DS ,even a lower version dsi. Good Luck !

Tried that link and still getting the same problem, loads up in the game slot with no picture click it then says error message. :(

The screen show "error" means your card cannot support your dsi v1.43.
You need update your R4i sdhc v1.4.
Go to the official site which listed on your r4. Find an update package.
It will need a ds to update your card. You cannot use your dsi to update your card as it can not work on it.
After the updating, i think your card will work.
