Step-by-step guide to upgrade the DSTTi 1.4 Firmware to support DSi firmware 1.4
What you will need to update your DSTTi Card:
* DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4X (1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U & 1.4A) e.g 1.3 or 1.2 or 1.1
* DS Lite Console
* DSTTi Card Loaded with Official Standard Firmware V1.15
* DSTTi Update for DSi 1.4 Download from here
To Check Your DSi Firmware Version:
* Click 'Setting' on the Main Menu
* In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say VER 1.X
STEPS:
1. Backup data of the TF card, then format it.
2. Download the official ttmenu v1.15, and unzip it on TF root folder.
3. Unzip 'DSTTi_v1.4_firmware.7z' you will then have three files: rom_pcb1.dat,rom_pcb2.dat,TTi14UPGRADE.nds
4. Copy the three files to the root of the Micro SD memory card.
5. Place the Micro SD back into the DSTTi Card and insert into DSL/DSi Console
6. Select the Firmware file TTi14UPGRADE.nds
7. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the rest, which should not take long.
Note:
* Must be running TTi14UPGRADE.nds on The Official Firmware TTMenu v1.15

extract both on root of memory card, put in ds lite run as a game and follow instructions. once finished it will now work as normal on dstti 1.4

forgot to mention used a 1gb micro sd card if it makes any difference

hi i have a dsi with 1.4e firmware and have a dstti card,it is coming up error on dsi,what software do i need on my card thanks

forgot to mention can use a higher micro sd card no higher than 4gb but try to stay away from micro sdhc for the upgrade if you can

Yes DSTTi supports 1.4 firmware

for the people who were not on 1.4 firmware and answering questions like jttormey if they ask i will answer, there are not enough people on this website that will answer peoples specific questions just because they know it does not mean others do. people are on this website because they don't know what they need to know and where to start looking.

Please help me, I inadvertantly updated the firmware on my 3 kids DSI to v1.4 I have NO access to another DS that I can use to follow the instructions on this forum and the TTDS website. I have the files necessary, but without a lower version firmware DS, I cannot update the needed software. Is there a way to post or email me directly the "pre-patched software" that I need to put back on the DSTTi cards? I can't run the TT1/4upgrade.nds file any other way? If you know how to post these files, or can email them to me you would be saving me a great deal of stress. THanks

Will this do anything to the other ds that i use do not want to mess up a m8s to thanks

dstt/dstti now has 1.18 firmware out http://filetrip.net/f10960-DSTTi-Firmware-1-18-beta1.html
Change log (v1.18-beta1):
Portions of YSMenu renamed, DMA is now DirMemAcc, cheat selection button is a smiley

I have a fake DSTTi, do u know any way to upgrade it??? when I run the TTi14UPGRADE.nds file it syas FAKE. Pls help
