Couldn't find the best thread or tutorial so i figured to ask and see if anyone knew the best tutorial on how to mod a nintendo dsi

Modding for DSi isnt difficult. Usually its done by external devices like flashcards which look like a normal game card, have same size and are inserted in slot 1. There are a lot of flashcards available but Popular ones are acekard 2i, m3i zero, supercard dsi, R4i etc. Make sure you buy a micro sd card with it otherwise you will not be able to use a flashcard. Most sellers should supply how to set up these products.

Unfortunately both dealextreme and focalprice have removed flashcarts from their websites. For awhile you were still able to place orders through some forum tricks, but now it seems those orders are no longer going through.

I've never ordered from them, but I've had several people recommend www.0shippingzone.com as being reliable.
