M3 DS real folder ?'s

Hello, it's been awhile since I played with a ds so here goes.

I got a M3 DS real card for my nephew. I know what to put in the root of the micro card.

This time I got a 16GB micro card so I can fit more games on it.

In the past, I would create a folder called NDS and put games in it. After 100 games or so went in that folder, I created a folder called New games, New games 2, etc.

I would like to make folders on this 16GB card such as Games A-F, Games G-P, etc.

I believe I still need a folder called NDS. Can this folder be empty, like a decoy folder? Or do I have to put at least some games in it?
