It would really help if you told us which flashcart you have.

Is it an R4 card of some kind ?, there must be a sticker on the cartridge.
If so have a look thru here ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/725065

..but you may find it quicker to go thru here trying different firmware ~ http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

If it's an R4 of some sort and you put the wrong firmware on, it will either not boot up or hang, in which case you just keep trying different firmware versions until you get it to work (only you can know what was only there before, after all!).

If it's not an R4 then i can't help you as i haven't used other types of cart.
You don't need to be technical at all though, for any of this, for example see here ~

Please don't use text speak..

A screenshot of the files won't help i don't think. What would be better is for you to describe the text on the front of your R4, for instance does it look smilar to this ~

- it's the text on the sticker that helps narrow down which firmware you need...

Where did you download it to?

You should have downloaded v1.18

Unrar the package.

Copy the follwing files/folders to THE ROOT DIRECTORY OF your microSD.

_system_ (folder)
moonshl (folder)
_DS_MENU.DAT (file)
_DS_MSHL.NDS (file)

and try again.
