Need help with a DS mod.

It's kind of a mod, anyways. I need to know how to build an audio in cable for the DS's external Mic port which won't damage the internal microphone, which happened last time I tried this.

I want to input say an MP3 player into my DS so I can use it with the live feature with DS Scratch.
