R4i - How to play the newer NDS roms?

Hi all,

I'm having trouble figuring out how to play the newer NDS roms which contain several .rar files when downloaded?

All the .rar files are for the same game and each of them has a .nds file within them.

I tried extracted one .nds file into my micro sd but whenever the game tries to load the screen goes blank (white blank screen).

I already upgraded my R4i to the latest kernal but the games still won't load.
