What is the difference between r4i gold 3ds vs 3ds gold rts carts? I have a 3DS XL (7.1.0-14u) and would like to play some old ds gaames that I have on an old r4i sdhc card. Would this be possible?

which r4i sdhc 3ds card do you have, is it this one http://www.dsflashcart.com/r4i-sdhc-3ds...-3ds-p-250.html if your card is too old, you need to use the latest kernel to update your card on a ds lite first, if the card can be updated, then it can work on your latest 3ds, if not, you need to buy a new card which can work on the latest 3ds console. what do you mean about the differences between r4i gold 3ds and 3ds gold rts, currently the best r4i gold 3ds card is this one http://www.dsflashcart.com/r4i-gold-3ds...-3ds-p-248.html working great on your 3ds console.

you'd better list a official site for these 2 cards, or i don't know what the r4i gold card you have. there are so many r4i gold cards...
the best one is r4i gold 3ds rts (r4ids.cn)

may you describle clearly which 3ds gold rts cart you are writing, so we can help you. anyway, if you want to play ds game with your 3ds xl(7.1.0-14),so you should upgrade your card to the latest version.

There are various r4i cards available on the market now, but when it comes to the best r4i card, I'd recommend buying the r4i gold 3ds rts card released by r4ids.cn team. http://www.r4flashcart.com/8-wood-r4i-g...nd-ds-lite.html is a really good place, shipping was free and quick.

r4i gold rts 3ds is the upgradable version of r4i gold 3ds, which added RTS,RTG function. Yeah, you can play some old ds games that have your old r4i sdhc card with r4i gold 3ds.What's more, r4i gold can support almost all latest nds games and can directly work on your N3DS V7.0, you can buy preflashed r4i gold from : http://www.modchipfactory.com/wood-r4i-...s-lite-p-1.html

no, currently only these cards can play 3ds games. http://www.dsflashcart.com/3ds-flashcar...41v45-c-68.html and they also only work on V4.1 to V4.5 3ds firmware.
