R4i probs, plz help

R4i probs! Plz help!
Hi, yesterday for my sons bday I got him a dsi v1.3e & an r4i upgrade unlimited(r4i-rts kungfu)
Went onto kungfu website & downloaded firmware & put games on it. All worked fine!
After only having it a few hours, he started messing & now it won't work!
I formatted the memory & reapplied the firmware/games & still nothing.
He said he was looking at 'themes' & then took r4i out.

I was told not to update it as it will no longer work. Don't think he's done that tho, as I was driving & didn't have any Internet.

It's driving me mad!!! Please help!!!

Forgot to say, ds now says 'an error has occurred, press & hold to power off...'

This error message just means the dsi is undated.

Chances are your r4 won't work anymore because the one you bought doesn't have the ability to update to be compatible with the latest firmware. So you have to buy another card, The acekard 2i is recommended.
