I have been looking on

r4i-sdhc.com

It says that I should not update my card until the new 2012-12-08 update has been released, but still nothing! My 3ds xl is requesting to update but Im not doing it incase it bricks my card, this happened to my last 3ds... Can anyone help with information as Ive emailed and they just ignore me.

You should buy a new card.
It seems that it will a long time to release the new update patch.

Since they have released the new version card V1.45, i guess they have abandoned the previous r4i sdhc 3ds. so you need to buy a new card which can work on your latest 3ds firmware, this time do not buy the new r4i sdhc 3ds card, recommend either r4i gold 3ds or supercard dstwo: http://www.dsflashcart.com/supercard-ds...-3ds-p-252.html
