R4i Upgrade V1.4 Problem Please Help!

Hello, I have a R4i Upgrade v1.4 and I was wondering how I can get it working on my DS Lite. I've tried dling the lastest kernel that includes R4iMenu, R4.dat, moonshl2 and moonmemo but when I put it onto my SD card and insert it into my R4 then to my DS Lite, nothing is there on the slot 1 section of the menu. Do I need some other stuff or what? Answers would be much appreciated, thanks everyone. =]

If the card is not even showing up then check if the card is making contact in the DS slot - put a thin piece of card behind the flash cart to push it closer to the DS contacts - this is a common problem with flash carts

Where did you download the kernel from, we have the corrcect kernels on site now for DS, DSI and DSI XL...

Gime me mor einfo and I will try and help you sort the problem out.

Thanks guys for replying. I have a DS Lite and I got the kernels from http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp the left column since I got R4i Upgraded v1.4 I got a 2g sd card and theres nothing on it. I downloaded the kernel from the site [v1.17b English] and extracted the files into the sd card. When I put the R4 and sd card into the ds, slot 1 is empty and says "there is no ds card inserted" on the menu so...thats my problem. Thanks again guys.
