R4i v1.4.1 + 8GB Class 4 Micro SDHC SD Card

Hi my problem is this I currently have a working micro sd card thats only about 1GB and has the required files for the r4i card to work all working ok including the games this is for a DS Lite.

I decided to upgrade the memory card hence the reason for the 8GB and transfered everything from the 1GB to the 8GB and tried it and the games seems to be playing slow while in a game. I have tried SD Formatter and reloaded it from scratch and still have the same problem I have also tried another 8GB and thats the same on the DS Lite

My daughters dsi plays all ok same and she has the same files only differance being her Micro SD Card is a 8GB Class 2.

Im at an end here tried everything I can think of and needing more ideas as to what the problem is
