Hi everyone.
I'm interested in buying an Acekard 2i for my DS. It's the first time I've considered this and I don't want to end up making an error by not buying from a genuine online store.
Been looking into these two sites:
http://www.nds-gear.co.uk
http://www.ndx-systems.com
Are they both authentic? And how is the customer service with both of these sites?
The first site are a little more expensive, but I dont know how much shipping is from ndx, I live in the UK.
Also has anyone ever had problems playing an original DS game cartridge on their DS after installing/using a DS card?

I have had a few Acekard2i's & SD cards from this site...
r4i.co.uk
Acekards are definately legit, Running AKAIO 1.5.1 happy with mine...
takes about a week to arrive. can pay by paypal so your protected...
my purchase was over £100 so i had to call to confirm my paypal del address, took sometime to get through to them. but i would recommend these.
money off codes are available and you can get another 15% cashback going through quidco

Yeah I was thinking of them as a possibility but I had mixed reviews on the site, some say bad some good. The other two seemed quite genuine as well but I'm not sure.
Someone mentioned priceangels.com as well but since they seem based in the US I think it would take a long time to receive orders to the UK.

Be careful getting them from the above post £8.26
The picture of the acekard on this site show a square depression where the sticker is...
Acekard warn that these are proberly fakes as they have not made them like this for a long time.

I figured they would be, considering the price and that they don't come boxed etc.
Any idea if the ones on http://www.r4i.co.uk are okay? I'm considering buying it in the next few days....

Yeah they are fine, i have used r4i.co.uk loads of times, most recently 4 weeks ago.
best thing is you can use paypal, (protection similar to a credit card)
clone Acekard2i's wont run AKAIO 1.5.1 apparently.. all the ones i have had from r4i.co.uk run it perfectly so must be legit. i have also updated the cards firmware so that they work in a DSI 1.14, this update also doesnt seem to work on clone cards.

okay thanks, that's given me piece of mind :) I haven't really heard many bad things so I'm certain there won't be a problem.
and I recall all the stuff about fake acekards not running AKAIO 1.5.1 so I'll keep that in mind!

Just wondering how you got on with the Acekard? I used DealExtreme. The delivery time can vary, first 2 arrived within a week (to Ireland, think they come from Japan), ordered another 5 near xmas and they took ages, but all worked perfectly. I recommend.

I think it's quite hard to get Acekards on DealExtreme as they're not on their site anymore?
Either way, I didn't order it yet, I kept forgetting to do so! I've been waiting in case any other recommendations came in. but it seems like it may be legit enough :\ the amount of time I've waited I could have ordered it from DX I guess haha.

Dealextreme DOES still sell flashcards. You just can't see them from the menu anymore. They are still one of the best and cheapest places to order them from. All my cards have been genuine from them too. Single Acekard 2i's are 12.97 from there. Here is the link to order cards from them. Order them in quantities of 3 or more and they are even cheaper.
