I have this M3 card setup exactly how it's supposed to be. Setup has been compared with a friends DS and is IDENTICAL. Same card, same DS Lite, only mine is newer than his, same game files, card software d/l from the same site.
My NDS Game Storage Folder is located and accessed in the MYCARD section for some reason, but his is not. His NDS Game Storage Folder is actually it's own main screen ICON. He has two main screen icons I don't. NDS(His Game Storage folder) and GBA. I go into MYCARD to get to my NDS Game Storage Folder.(The system folder placed on the card is also visible in the MYCARD section??)
I can see the games I have placed in this folder. But when I tap on the touchscreen, or hit A button. I get NO RESPONSE. Nothing. I can go back, to main, no freeze up. Nothing. It just acts like I did nothing.
So I need to figure out why I don't get an NDS/GBA Icon, and why the games are unresponsive, in a DS and M3 Real card that seem to be functioning fine other than these fatal flaws.
This DS is for my 11 year old brother for Christmas. Thanks for your time, you can literally SAVE his CHRISTMAS by helping me out.
On a new M3 Real the micro SD slot should be on the side
The firmware should be a single folder (SYSTEM), you create a folder NEXT to this called (NDS) load the roms in there (max 127 - need more create another folder)
Does yours say www.adapter.com ANYTHING else and its a fake and not an M3Real
On first start up it will ask you to select Sakura or Touchpod - choose Sakura.
The latest firmware can be found at the links in my signature, early firmware will not work correctly (do not go to www.m3adapter.com this software is 2 years old)
Thanks for the help. My friend and I figured out the problem. We both d/l the SYSTEM firmware from the same site. We had checked everything except copying his firmware to my card. We assumed it was the same...but it wasn't. My current version of the firmware wouldn't work. We copied his, put it on the card, added games, and it worked. Simple and easy like everyone says. And we got that done in time for it to be wrapped and put under the tree. :D
