I have bought Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. The seller warned me that it was for 'use in the USA only' I went ahead and bought it as I have a few US and Japanese games already which play fine and also read that the DS system does not have region restrictions.

The problem is the game arrived and does not proceed past the first scree. I press 'start' and it goes to a white screen and stays there.

Is the seller correct in saying it must be for a US console only? Or is it possibly a faulty cartidge? Seller will not accept return as I accepted the US game for UK player.
